What’s a cloud-based phone system?
“Cloud-based” means that the data is stored in our secure server which you can reach over the internet. A cloud phone system replaces traditional landlines, eliminating the need for capital investment and the hassle of installing and managing complex hardware in your office.

Do I need a phone line or special equipment to make this work?
Nope! All you need is an internet connection for your business.

What’s included in the basic phone service?
The basic phone service includes the standard basic telephony features set: call hold, call transfer, call forward, pickup, park, personal park, caller ID, extension dialing and do not disturb.

How many lines can I purchase?
You can purchase as many as you want!

What is a virtual receptionist?
A virtual receptionist automatically directs callers to various extensions or departments without the need to go through an operator.

Can I keep my toll-free or local number if I choose to cancel?
Yes you can. If you chose to switch to a different provider you can port your number out to that provider.

Can I make International long distance calls?
Yes you can! You are billed on a per-minute basis and rates vary country-to-country. Below are some of the International long distance Rates common destinations.

How long does Zang Office take to activate?
Almost immediately! Once you complete the purchase process and complete the onboarding process you can start making calls.

Can I purchase features separately?
We have a selection of features that can be purchased individually depending on type of user plan you originally chose.__

What type of add-ons are available?
Click here to view a full list of Add-ons that can be purchased through the Zang Office admin portal once your account has been created.

How do I purchase features after I already paid?
To add on features go > Under the Administrator portal > Additional add ons cost will be added to your monthly bill. You will receive a notification which will require to accept the new terms.

How many minutes are included in my account?
US and Canada have *Unlimited minutes and international calls are available at competitive rates. See our chart here! *Abuse limits may apply

Can I use my fax machine with Zang Office?
No, not directly but some features are supported without needing a fax machine. You can set up Fax-to-Email by going Under the Administrator portal > User > Enable fax box feature by toggling the switch to get some fax features.

Are my calls secure with Zang Office?
You bet they are! All your calls and information are 100% safe.


Can I port an existing number?
Yes. You can port a number from another provider to Zang Office. The time allotted to carriers to fulfill a port is 10 days.

What type of phones do we offer?
We offer 4 types of phones at the moment.
Zang Office Phone Application: The Zang Office softphone includes all the communication features you would come to expect right on your desktop or mobile device. Take advantage of all the great Zang Office features without breaking the bank as the Zang Office softphone is included for free with your Zang Office subscription!

Standard Phone: The Avaya E129 SIP Deskphone packs all the essential call handling features you’d expect in an affordable, yet highly functional SIP phone. The Avaya E129 deskphone enables users to transfer, mute, forward and place calls on hold as well as initiate ad-hoc conferences with the press of a button. The full duplex speakerphone allows for hands-free conversations, and its Power over Ethernet port offers convenient access to the company network. The Avaya E129 SIP Deskphone has the right calling capabilities and is both affordable and attractive. AC Power adapter included.

Is there a setup fee?
No – just your monthly subscription cost.

Is there a payment plan for the phones?
No, not at this time but something we’re looking into in the near future.

Can I use my own/cordless phone I purchased?
Yes – if it’s one of our supported devices. We have a list of supported devices coming soon!

Can I buy phones without purchasing additional service?
Yes you can. Visit the Zang Office Store and purchase any additional phones.

How do I order a phone?
To order your phone start by selecting the number of users you want, continue to the phone number selection and finally select the type of phones you want. Get started here!

How long does it take for my phones to arrive?
Your phone should arrive in 1 to 2 weeks!

What is a softphone?
A softphone allows you to make, transfer, and receive phone calls from your laptop or desktop computer.
