What is Zang Office?
Zang Office is, quite simply, a business phone service for small-to medium-size businesses (SMBs). It is a pure cloud offer available 100% over the internet. It is designed to be dead simple to order and install. Its feature set includes inbound/outbound calling, call hold, call transfer, voicemail, extensions, hunt groups, auto attendant/IVR, conferencing (for power users), and music on hold, among others.

Where is it available?

How do I get it?

Are partners required to install the product?
No. Zang Office is a software-as-a-service offer (pure cloud-based) that is intended for SMBs. It is simple to order and install and does not require a partner or even in-house IT resources. What features are included with the service?
That varies depending on what package you choose.

Our Basic Package includes: Web and mobile apps, Voice conference up to 5 people, Persistent chat, Share files (up to 1 GB), Direct video call other Spaces users, Spaces AP.

Our Plus Package includes everything in Basic plus: Voice conference up to 25 people or video up to 15, Virtually unlimited file sharing, File previews, Group tasks, Optional dial-in add-on.

Our Business Package includes Everything in Plus + Business: Voice conference up to 60 people or video up to 25, Included dial-in, Administrator Console, Virtually unlimited support tickets, API Support.

How does the pricing of the service work?
Pick the right plan for each of your users to customize Zang office for your business. You can go month to month or commit to a yearlong plan to get a discounted rate. Packages start for as little as USD $15.95/month and include basic phone service, Caller ID, and voicemail right out of the box. Get started with Zang Office today!

What sort of clients can be used?
For the Zang Office GA-CI, 2 physical phones will be available (one desk phone, one conferencing phone). Additional models will be added over the next few months (before and after GA-UR). A softphone (desktop app) will also be available for GA-CI for both Mac and Windows. A mobile client for Android and iOS will be available in time for GA-UR. What is the ideal customer or prospect profile?
The ideal prospect profile for Zang Office is a small business with between 5 and 50 users located in the U.S. Almost any type of business qualifies: real estate offices, accountants, flower shops, co-location/office sharing facilities, restaurants, etc. However, we encourage you to use your imagination! These guidelines are not hard and fast. If you think you have a customer that might benefit, please fill out the survey form and we’ll reach out to them. Note, Avaya is not servicing healthcare-related businesses at this time.

How do I get started?
Visit the Zang Office page and scroll down to the orange Get Started button. Pick and choose the type of accounts you want for your users, toggle between a yearly and monthly plan, to see a price preview. Once you're satisfied with the account selection you will continue to the phone number selection by clicking the red button down at the bottom. At this point you will select either an existing, a toll-free or a local number followed by any additional devices you may want and finally finish it off with the billing. Fast easy and simple.

What is a huntgroup?
A huntgroup is a ring series of associated numbers until someone answers or the call is sent to voicemail. In other words, multiple devices will ring.

Why can't I sign into the mobile app?
One of the typical issues with not being able to sign in to the mobile app is because the Admin is required to configure the soft phone first for the mobile app function successfully. This process is not automatically, but will be in the near future!

Where do we see what was initially ordered?
You will receive a summary via email and you can also go back to the Zang store > Menu drop down > My profile (top right) > Order history tab to view all your order history.

What is Hot Desking?
Enable multiple users to share a single device. Users log into the device each time they need to use it as if was their own. This gives users the flexibility to use any phone by just signing in.

Can I upgrade to a different service level or change my billing plan at any time?
Yes! Add new users, add-ons, features, or phones whenever you choose and only pay for what you use.

To upgrade go to Administrator portal > User > Make all the changes you need and you will be notified of all changes to your bill. After you review and accept the new features they will come into effect immediately.

What kind of commitment do I have to make?

What are the benefits of using Zang Office?
